What's the story
There is so much digital potential here
I built the Whitsunday Business Hub to really capture that potential. I have a long career in web design and development with experience in all aspects of the digital space.
I have been on many large scale digital endevours in my career involving building complex digital systems and all facets of web development.
I moved to Bowen 3 years ago and I started the company Whitsunday Web. I have been building some websites for people in the area and
getting to know how the community is doing business.
So many small to medium businesses, so many don't have websites, and if they do the website is most likely doing nothing
for their business other than being an online brochue. But I get it, I've spoken to a few of the web places around and have had a few clients getting quotes in the area.
Basic websites cost upwards of $5000 around here and pretty much just let people know you exist and what your business is. Kinda like Facebook. This is a big reason why alot of businesses are
resorting to just having a Facebook page and not investing in a functional website like they should be. Facebook can be used as a good marketing tool but it's not setup to represent your business
as a whole.
In my world websites run your business for you.
I want to help everyone and show businesses around here how much using the right web system can change everything! I realised pretty quick that building everyone in the Whitsundays an awesome custom website was a big task to pursue.
So I came up with the idea to build one system for everyone.
A system that is modular. So modules can be interchanged to suit the business using it. If there isn't a module that fits your business, we can build one that does. Not only can everyone easily
get a top of the line website but it has the power to run your business and it is running off the same system as everyone else, which opens up an amazing opportunity for community networking and collaboration between businesses.
All businesses signed up also get free marketing across the platform and all sorts of collaboration tools.

If everyone gets involved this could be something really great for all businesses in the Whitsundays and it really is only the begining, I've got so many ideas and plans going forward.

Whitsunday Business Hub was designed and built in the Whitsundays and is 100% Australian.
We need to take better control of our business data and digital assets! We are constanly giving away our precious and VALUABLE data to companies online that ask for it. I can help you all understand this better and make the right changes to gain back your digital autonomy. Almost all of our data is in some way stored on servers out of our control and mostly in the USA. We just keep handing it over with a smile, often paying them to take it from us.
There is a lot to understand on this subject and we can work together to take back control. Rest assured that everything about this hub is completely Australian, we are even setting up our very own server so all of your business and personal data will be stored in a decentralised network right here in QLD.
